The most recent addition to the Porsche lineup, this super quick, sports utility vehicle is fast and is designed to be driven aggressively. Below is a check list describing the Macan intermediate service.
Intermediate Maintenance Checklist
Oil Service: Every 10,000 miles or 1 year.
Interval: 20/60/100/140k
Note: If the mileage for scheduled maintenance is not reach, intermediate maintenance must be performed no later than after 2, 6, 10 years.
The terms ‘check’ and ‘inspection’ include all necessary subsequent work such as adjusting, readjusting, correcting and topping off, but do not include repairing, replacing and reconditioning parts or assemblies.
Electric
Diagnosis system: Read out fault memory; reset maintenance interval
Windshield and wiper/washer system, headlight washer: Check function and nozzle adjustment
Horn: Check operation
Tires: Check tire pressure
Electrical equipment as well as indicator and warning lights: Check operation
Inside of Vehicle
Seat belts: Check operation and condition
Pollen filter: Replace filter element
Outside of Vehicle
Check wiper blades
Clean reversing camera lens
Vehicle lighting: Check operation
All headlights: Check adjustment
Trailer hitch: Check operation
Radiators and air intakes: Visual inspection for exterior debris and blockage
Check all body drains for debris
Under The Vehicle
Drain engine oil and change oil filter (Every 10,000 miles)
Tires: Check tire pressure
Brake system: Visual inspection of the brake pads and brake discs for signs of wear (without removing wheels)
Brake hoses and lines: Visual inspection for damage, routing and corrosion
Axle shafts: visual inspection of the dust boots for leaks & signs of damage
Axle joints: Check play; visual inspection of the dust boots for leaks & signs of damage
Drive shafts/Cardan shaft: visual inspection the rubber bellows for leaks and signs of damage
Steering gear: Visual inspection of the dust boots for signs of damage
Exhaust system: Visual inspection for leaks and signs of damage; check mounts
Engine Compartment
Fill engine oil
Visual inspection for leaks (oils and fluids)
Check drive belt (only if vehicle is used off-road)
Fuel system lines and connections: Visual inspection
Coolant and hoses: Check level and antifreeze, check condition of hoses
Windshield wiper/washer system, headlight washer: Check fluid and antifreeze protection level
Check firewall body drains for debris
Additional Maintenance For Spark Plugs
Replace spark plugs: Macan S/Turbo every 30,000 miles or 4 years
Additional Maintenance Every 60,000 Miles Or Every 6 Years
PDK Transmission: Change oil
Additional Maintenance Every 80,000 Miles Or Every 4 Years
Air filters: Replace elements
Additional Maintenance Every 160,000 Miles Or Every 16 Years
All-wheel final drive: change oil
Change rear differential oil
Maintenance Every 2 Years
Change brake fluid (use only genuine Porsche brake fluid)
Clutch: change fluid & perform test and adaption (Use only Original Porsche Brake Fluid) Macan S
Road Test Check
Remote control, front seats, foot brake and parking brake (also operating travel), engine, clutch, steering, transmission, ParkAssist, automatic speed control, PSM switch, PASM switch, Sport switch, heater, air-conditioning system and instruments: Check operation
Oils, fluids: Visual inspection for leaks
